7. Tasting of the first St. Martin’s wine in Uherské Hradiště

St. Martin’s Day, the 11th of November, is an important day in the calendar of each wine maker or wine lover. On this day, the Feast of St. Martin, the first bottles of wine made from the autumn harvest are opened, exactly on 11.11. at 11 o’clock. The celebrations take place on the town square where St. Martin arrives on a white horse and brings wine to be blessed. Then we can get tasting in the “Wine tent” and listen to cimbalom music. Invite your friends and experience this lovely tradition!

arrival, check in accommodation, wine tasting in a wine maker’s wine cellar, dinner

Day 2. Tuesday

a tour around Plže Wine Cellars (national monument), then wine cellars in Blatnice pod sv. Antoníčkem, dinner

Day 3. Wednesday

after breakfast depart for Uherské Hradiště for the Tasting of the first St. Martin’s wine, watch the event. and taste wine, a walk around the town, dinner
